Clinical genomics researcher with hands-on experience in sample collection, preservation and bio-banking, and in manual and automated nucleic acid extraction from blood, sputum and nasopharyngeal samples.
Her laboratory expertise covers PCR, multiplex PCR, RT-qPCR, agarose gel electrophoresis, Sanger sequencing, bacterial culture, Gram staining, media preparation, antibiotic susceptibility testing, line probe assay and ICT diagnostic assays. She has worked with amplicon-based targeted next-generation sequencing across library preparation, quality control, bioinformatic analysis, variant classification and statistical genotype–phenotype correlation, and has trained in BSL-2 and BSL-3 settings under Good Laboratory Practice.
